Starting first day of PGP life at IIMB. Feeling excited, nervous, enthusiastic, scared and a lot more at the same time.
Arrived here with family and Nikki, my cousin. My room for the year is 007 (D-007). Got all the stuff in place in the room thanks, majorly to Amma. Now I am all set and my room already looks like somebody has lived in it for a few days.
Food was surprisingly and refreshingly better than at Ittiam. A tour of campus resulted in us (that's me and some floor-mates) just helping ourselves into a surprised PGP2's room (2nd year PGP students are called PGP2s), just to take a look at rooms in the new hostel blocks.
The campus is quite huge with 100 acres - mostly green and cool. I hope that this is gonna help me with some much needed lung space after having gotten cramped in AC offices and concrete buildings for 4 years :) And of course, look forward to all the diversity and challenges that's gonna get thrown into the mix in the next 21 months.
